Abrosoft FantaMorph is a program, which can create morphing videos from two different pictures. We can add a picture of our own face and morph it to somebody else’s. The program is very small, with all the important features required.
There is a preview pane which has a slider. We can move the slider to view the morphing process in real time. Well, this program requires little CPU power and is really fast in previewing and also in exporting movies. We may export movies in popular formats, mainly as AVI files (un-compressed). The resolution supported is up to 1024*768 and any picture greater than this resolution will be asked to be scaled to this size. Anyway, we can easily crop, scale and rotate the pictures as we like using some simple buttons and controls in the program.
One thing is that the program cannot do the morphing automatically, as it doesn't have the technology for recognizing the facial features. So, there are a lot of dots placed around both faces and we need to adjust them together. That is the only thing we need to do, and we can preview the morphing, export it as movie, or just a picture from anywhere of the morphing process, etc.
I really liked this program as it is really easy to operate and doesn't use much CPU or memory. The screenshots and review relate to version 3.6. A newer version is available on the developer's site. |
